Gordon, who will be eligible to play immediately as a graduate transfer, has decided to play his final season at Seton Hall.

The 6-3 guard, who became Division I basketball’s first openly gay player in April 2014, will bring needed experience to the Pirates at the guard position after starting every game for UMass in his two seasons with the Minutemen. Seton Hall recently lost its leading scorer in guard Sterling Gibbs, who announced he was transferring to UConn earlier this week.
Gordon averaged 9.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists over his two seasons at UMass after originally transferring from Western Kentucky following his freshman season.
